“As a Strasburg graduate, parent of four students, and volunteer in the classroom and on the court, I’ve seen both the opportunities and challenges in our school.
I believe in making fair, responsible, and transparent decisions that respect families and put students first.”

My Priorities for Strasburg Schools
Every decision should strengthen opportunities for students while respecting the families and community that support them. These priorities will guide my work on the school board:
Academic Excellence First
Focus on raising academic performance and preparing students for the future.
Fairness for All Students
Ensure policies and processes support teachers, coaches, and students equally.
Balanced Opportunities
Support athletics while keeping academics, arts, and all student programs strong.
Financial Responsibility
Make decisions that respect families’ contributions and prioritize needs over wants.
Community Engagement
Encourage participation and transparency so every family feels represented.
More About Me
Our Family’s Future Is Here
Strasburg isn’t just where I live—it’s where my family’s future is rooted. My husband, Mitch, and I are raising our four children—Reese (6th), Knox (4th), Hayden (2nd), and Deacon (Kindergarten)—right here in Strasburg schools. With 12 more years ahead of us in the district, I’m deeply invested in making sure every decision we make puts students first. Guided by conservative values and Christian principles, I believe in responsibility, accountability, and transparency—qualities I live out daily as a parent, business owner, and community volunteer.
Proud to Be Shaped by Strasburg
I moved to Strasburg in junior high, when my dad began teaching and coaching. Growing up in a family of educators, I was surrounded by teachers and coaches who challenged, encouraged, and believed in me. I graduated in 2003 as class president, a National Honor Society member, and a multi-sport athlete and captain, while also performing in both the marching and concert bands. Those experiences gave me a deep respect for our schools, teachers, and the sense of community that makes Strasburg special.
Rooted Here. Experienced Beyond.
After graduating from Kent State, I built a career in marketing and sports tourism, working for the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and the Ohio Wine Producers Association before launching my own business, By Design Marketing, which I’ve run for the past eight years. Today, I’m proud to serve as a board member for the Strasburg Tiger Foundation, a member of First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia, and a volunteer youth boys’ basketball coach.
